Subscribe from the mobile app
Grok Bot mobile signs in with the same Cursor account you use on desktop. If your Cursor account already has Grok Bot access, that access carries over to mobile without a second purchase.
Which plans carry over to mobile?
Sign in to Grok Bot mobile with the same Cursor account you use on desktop, and access carries over for:
- Premium, Super, or Ultra on The X Subscription, including team seats
- Legacy Cursor Ultra
- Legacy Cursor Pro+
- Legacy Cursor Pro
- Legacy Cursor Teams (self-serve) seats
- SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, or SuperGrok Heavy account links
- X Premium+ account links
You should not buy a second subscription on Apple or Google Play in these cases. You can still upgrade within your plans, such as Pro+ to Ultra. A Cursor plan and a SuperGrok or X Premium+ link do not add together. Grok Bot uses whichever one grants more weekly usage. See Do Cursor and SuperGrok plans stack?.
How do I subscribe to Grok Bot from the mobile app?
If your Cursor account doesn't already include Grok Bot, subscribe from the mobile app:
- Open Grok Bot on your phone.
- Choose a plan on the paywall screen.
- Complete the in-app purchase through the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android.
Only monthly individual plans are available through the mobile app. For yearly billing, Teams, or Enterprise plans, subscribe on cursor.com. See Subscribe from the iOS app for how Apple handles in-app subscriptions, or Subscribe from the Android app for how Google Play handles them.
How do I use SuperGrok or X Premium+ on mobile?
You still need to link your Grok account. On the phone's paywall screen, choose Link Grok Account and finish signing in to Grok in your browser. Then choose Finished Linking? Refresh My Status. A link made on desktop or the web also works on the phone with the same Cursor account.
How do I manage or cancel a mobile subscription?
The store you bought through handles the subscription, including store free trials (intro offers). Cursor can't cancel an in-app plan or refund it for you.
- iOS: Apple handles in-app subscriptions. Cancel or change the plan in Apple ID → Subscriptions before a trial ends if you do not want it to convert to a paid subscription. For Apple billing questions and refunds, use Apple's subscription support.
- Android: Google Play handles in-app subscriptions. Cancel or change the plan in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. For Google Play billing questions, use Google Play's subscription support.
The Grok Bot usage-credit trial claimed on web or desktop is separate. See How do I cancel my Grok Bot trial?.
Why can't I switch plans on Android?
A Google Play subscription belongs to the Grok Bot account that bought it. If your Google account's subscription was bought while you were signed in to a different Grok Bot account, changing the plan from the app fails with a general error and nothing is charged. Sign in to the account that owns the subscription to change the plan, or let the current subscription end and subscribe again from the account you want to use.
